Silver Art Clay

This is my first piece in working with Art Clay. What I love about it is that it allows you so much freedom in being able to create what ever you want. The whole process in making this piece is very cool. What I also like is using sulfur on my jewelry it gives it that antique look with out actually being a hundred years old. Thank you Jean Shaw for a fun class.

Tube Earrings

Today was a wonderful day....any day is wonderful when you're able to create art. I was able to take a class from Robin Dudley-Howes. I have also taken the Treasure Necklace class from her too. I love her, her talent is so amazing! To spend the day with friends and make beautiful art is the best way to spend any day.

Garden of Beaden 2009

Many thanks to my friend Irene. I have had the opportunity in being able to teach classes at her store (Garden of Beaden) in Upland. In return I have been blessed in meeting lot's of wonderful friends. This experience has offered me so much in growing as a person. Nothing feels better than teaching people and being able to share in their joy and enthusiasm when creating art together. If you're ever in town be sure to stop by. Bezeled Pins & Necklaces

Well It's been forever and a year that I've posted anything, or at least it feels that way.  Life just has a way of flying by. I'm on vacation so I have no excuses, so here are a few pieces that I've done. I'm having a blast making these. I am very excited about these pieces as I am going to be teaching some classes at the Garden of Beaden in Upland.  www.gardenofbeadenupland.com     Also I will be getting ready for the Upland Music and Arts Festival in November.  So I'm going to be very busy, but so looking forward to it all.

"Tattered and Tangle"

South Pasadena's Artwalk May 9th 2009 @4pm - 10pm. What an exciting night this will be. Pasadena's first Electric Music Festival, along with 8 other galleries to view. Also Angela Cartwright will be at Zinnia to sign copies of her new book "In This Garden".  Makes for a great way to spend a Saturday Evening. I'm so excited.

Rudy Boy

This is a friend of  ours Rudy, he has lung cancer. He is one the kindest guys I know. He wanted me to do a picture for him.  My husband gave me his picture and said it well come to you.  As I ponder on what to do for him, this verse in the Bible came to me.  Little did I know this is his favorite scripture. I like to call this a God thing.  So I went to my neighbors house to dig through his wood to make the cross.  I think  he was very happy with the way it turned out.  Just love doing photo transfers.
